The Letter A . . . . . . . It Starts

OK yes before I start the A to Z challenge I need to explain and apologise, you see I can write loads at times and as those of you doing the A to Z will know, folk tend to be keen at first write loads and then by about L run out of steam.  OK yes I never run out of steam, but this year I have a cunning plan of shear genius which has never been done before on the A to Z, and in order to do it I need short posts. And anyway I am writing nonsense poetry about an aardvark and not The Rhyme of the Accent Mariner although it needs a bit of a rewrite really as it hardly ever mentions aardvarks and when it does they don’t come out of it in a good light, I knew letting them eat the Albatross was poetical suicide

Right yes I am getting distracted, so sorry about that, what I am saying here is that it will take three or four days for my cunning plan to sort of materialize at which point folk will say  . . . . O so that is his cunning plan . . . . . . IT’S rubbish.

Right enough of not doing the A to Z challenge it is time to start. . . . . And I would particularly like to wish all members of RATs who are doing it also,  good luck including the very newest member of RATs . . . . Mr Flip.

OK here we GO

The Greatest A to Z
Aardvark based Nonsense Poetry in the World

Poetry is easy . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . or so some say
So through the Alphabet . . . . . .I will play
Starting right here . . . here with the letter A
And a rather silly nonsense poem, to end the day.

So to the distant sound of a mad dogs bark.
I’ll start at the start with thee Aardvark.
AH

DAMN.

  4. Very good start! I like how you've deliberately chosen a short format to ensure that you can meet the deadlines, but then have filled the page with loads of exposition anyway. Sounds like something I'd do.

    Good luck with the challenge.

    1. Thanks but the art is just scribbles on paper with a ball point pen. I feel they all need a few words.

  7. If you sheared some of your words, then it would be a cunning plan of shear genius. As it stands it's sheer genius, and I cheer you on for the fact that you dare to share such a cunning plan! But can you shear it?
And now my tongue is tied in a knot...

    2. Nice comment very cool . . .

I draw all the pictures for the blog unless I have taken a photo due to being rushed. . . As it happens all the pictures of the Alphabet are available for everyone to use during the A to Z. there is a link on a post towards the end of March where they can all be found on one of my other blogs.

I hope more aardvarks will get to participate. by the way, despite my signature which seems to be the only thing that works when I comment on blogger, it is I, the pandanista at http://yourbrainonpandas.com
