. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I do love some of that
Franciscan Funk
And a bit of Hip Hop from
Thelonious Monk
Plus a bit of Opera from
those chaps at Motown
Or the famous Water Music
by that chap Arthur Brown.
Or even that song Nineteen
Ninety Nine by Arthur C Clark
And the Star spangled
Banner as played at Woodstock
by Johann Sebastian Bach
Who as we all know played
saxophone with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band . . . . just for a lark.
Although these days
I do have a problem
remembering who plays and sings what
And folk say I am loony
and have completely lost the plot.
Mind You
I once played the Bermuda triangle in the band at School
But I was told using a
violin bow
Made me look like a fool.
Hahaha! Love it! I'm too young to remember all the artists you mentioned and yet strangely I do. As for the first poem, oh lordy did that ending make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteIt was a tricky one to end that first one and it was the Red Indian Guide that moves my hands about who cant type that come up with that ending. I dont think Red Indians like cats much.
DeleteI am thinking that the triangle needs to be the official musical instrument of Bermuda. I did find this information which goes alng with your Scottishness:
ReplyDeleteBermuda has a strong Scottish and Irish cultural presence, and is home to well-known bagpipe bands that draw on those traditions, especially the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band. The bagpipe tradition was brought to Bermuda by Scottish and Irish soldiers from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
Well now I did not know that Bermuda had a pipe band. It just goes to show that this blog is more informative than even I thought. . . . A grand piece of information Mr ESB.
Deletewonderfully zany as always
