Today was a bit like the battle
with the Wasps only bigger and with pointy sticks, but luckily I still had some
of that powder we used to Zap the Wasps (sorry Wasps), so that sort of did the
trick. We will not be seeing that lot again soon, But rather than bore you with
a blow by blow description of the day I have just drawn a little picture
instead which I think tells you everything you need to know; I tweaked it on
the PC for dramatic effect too to highlight the battle at one of its more
interesting points.
Oooooo yes it
started to rain as well at about 4:00pm so that is summer over then . . . . . .
. DAMN
The adding of a squid makes everything more dramatic!
ReplyDeleteI was reading this on a smaLLer screen of an iPhone and missed the squid somehow. So Rob, missed squid is squimizz'd (?)
DeleteYes squids and Zombies are a force to reckon with, but Wasp nest powder has something in it that I'm sure should be banned, but could be useful if we are attacked by scary aliens.....
DeleteA new word Mr ESB . . . . . squimizz'd , I have been practising saying that....
And I have to say these images are best seen on a nice big monitor having clicked on the image to reveal it in its full glory (DAMN that does not sound very modest). . . . Well if you cant promote your own blog on your own blog ..
I wiLL practice putting it on a large large screenwhen I get home tonight to check for the LOG (Level Of Glory).
DeleteI hope you will not be too disappointed after the big build up and drum roll.
DeleteZombie Powder. Powder to the Zombie, right on! Did you know that "Zombie Powder and Pointy Sticks" were an obscure Canadian punk band from, Hairy Hills, Alberta?
ReplyDeleteIt's two in the morning on Sunday and the rain barrel is starting to fill up.
Cheerio and nice picture. No squidding....
Our rain barrel is also full of rain now, I did hear the rain but not at two in the morning I was very asleep.
DeleteI have suddenly had interest from China in my blog I am hoping as the nice Steven Spielberg it still undecided about the movie rights to the diary as £150:27p is rather a lot to pay maybe a chinese film maker might be showing interest. . . . Either that or the web crawlers are at it again . . . . .GGGrrrrrrrr
That picture reminds of my favourite comic book artist Ben Templesmith. http://www.templesmith.com/gallery/
ReplyDeleteI met him once, he was a really nice guy. His books "wormwood" had my eyes doing backflips.
:O)
Hello Mr H I have had a little look at his webpage and have done a like on his Facebook page, but that is only because you said he was a really nice chap..... But I don't know any of his work. You see I know nothing.......
DeletePop into the comic shop next time your in shrewsbury, they'll sort you out with a couple of his books. it is mainly zombies which is quite fortuitous.
