Saturday again and for reasons I
do not understand we are having retro-weather, or in other words winter has
sneaked back which is not nice. I did go outside at one point and looked at the
sky and the Zombie Defence Trench but the sky was cold and the zombies have all
gone back into hiding because zombies do not like the cold. It appears the only
activity today was banshees who do like cold weather, the Lemmings of Petrograd
who of course come from Petrograd so a cold
day on the English Welsh border is just another average day for them. And then
we heard, but did not see a strange bird or at least I assume if was a bird, it
made strange noises and Heavy Harry the Cat showed some interest but Heavy
Harry the Cat hates the cold and was not going out to investigate. And the
chicken tried to do an impression of the strange bird which the chicken says is
a Pink Psychedelic Pigeon Perching on a Pomegranate tree.
That reminds me
I must go and continue my posts for the grand blogging event, the A to Z
challenge thing that starts in April. So
for now that is your lot. I may or may not return…..
Ooh The Psychedelic Furs! Rob Z, one day I'm going to go through your blog (again) and just play all the tunes that remind me of better times. Speaking of which, the A-Z Challenge is not one of them.
ReplyDeleteAnd why does chicken look like his taking something that he shouldn't? :)
Hello Miss Lily I have added a link at the bottom of this post for you that will give you quick access to all the YouTube links on my blog. There is an 'Load More' button at the bottom so you can go way back. It will save you much time.
DeleteAs for the A to Z if you are not feeling happy about it you don't have to do it. I am happy to hold the fort for us RATs so to speak.
And the chicken is impersonating a Pink Psychedelic Pigeon . . . . .
I agree, I notice winter is not nice because it is a ton of ice, and I faLL on my ice and luckily not my face. Face placed on ice in high velocity (vel-ice-ity) with eXtreme deacceleration is not nice and may make lacerations while lacrimating like a little lass. The Frozen Earth, its lid is so solid.
ReplyDeleteThat does not sound good Mr ESB I hope you are OK. We have had tiny bits of snow blowing about in the wind here. This is not good as this time last year we were eating meals in the garden and had planted loads of vegetables.
DeleteI hope you recover quickly from the ice fall, I have noticed that falling in the cold is more painful that falling in the warm, and is also more likely.
Ice and humans I'm sure have not evolved to live together and problems occur when they do meet. . . . take care
Oh, it was just poetry. No Ernests were harmed in the production of the ice not nice notification fiction. Eskimos are the evolutionary product of too mooch ice, notice that they even have 'ski' in the middle of eskimo, and mo means more, so lotza ski in eskimo. The word eskimo upside down would be owjysa, so any Alaskan village named Owjysa must be veRy slippery when nyet.
DeleteI still have not worked out how you can do that upside down word thing. I still have problems with then the right way up.
DeleteTo use a line from an Arnold Schwarzeneggar movie, "Maybe it's a tumor"
