D 

I suspect some of you will be thinking by now this chaps Plan for a Plan based theme for the Alphabet is Doomed. And that it’s (to put it bluntly) a Doomed Plan full of Death, Destruction, Distraction, Despair and The Devil and probably a Duck or two, now If anyone is thinking DUCK? Well some will know they do on rare occasions (a Lot) pop up on my A to Z’s much in the same way as they pop up in a pond while nibbling food on a sunny day.

I used to eat duck it tasted lovely, but in the end their cute little faces would haunt me at night. Their feathers whispering at me through the pillow case saying things like . . . . You ****** nasty ****** chap eating cute feathery critters that just like to chill and nibble stuff in the pond, you’re a ***** ***** you are. So I don’t eat duck now. Even my pillow is some sort of terrible foam thing designed to insure you won’t sleep well. But at least Ducks like me again so that’s OK. . . . . . .

C 

Now tempting as a Plan C might be; I think it would be unfair to pursue this so in order to maintain the basic formula of my 2019 A to Z we/I need to think laterally so time to consider Plan Sea or to look at it in an alternative way a slightly Fishy Plan. Maybe one involving Cod, Catfish, Carp, Coley and the ever elusive Coelacanth, folk love fish particularly if covered in a nice crisp batter. Which of course is why the Coelacanth remains so elusive after all who could resist a deep fried Coelacanth?

 Right well that’s about it I will Conclude C now as no one will want to spend ages reading millions of long Blogs in a Cascade of C based Consciousness. So I will say farewell until the Letter D. . . . . . . . . And some Ducks (you have been warned).

A rather bizarre, slightly odd and somewhat rambling trip through an A to Z of Plans. . . . . Sort Of

B 

Yesterday I had A Plan for the letter A which I cunningly called Plan A. Well that seemed to be a good idea at the time only we have now changed letters and that’s a problem as we now need a new Plan or Plan B. No its OK I do not intend to do this for the entire Alphabet I mean who has ever heard of Plan J or Plan R that would be silly. . . . . . Although if I get desperate I might be tempted and for those that have read my previous A to Z’s you will know I do stuff like that so be warned. 

I guess some of you will be feeling Bemused and Beguiled by Plan B particularly Boris the Belgian who as we all know can be a bit Belligerent and slightly Boring. And talking of Boring it is Best I go. But not without first adding tonight’s entirely unrelated picture to Bring a Smile to our old friend Boris. 

Luckily a proper (but Basic) Plan is Brewing in my mind which I will develop behind the scenes over the next couple of days to get me to the End. . . . . Well we all need a Plan to succeed or we are doomed

A 

What we need to get through this ‘A to Z thing’ is A Plan, but not just any Plan. What we need is Plan A. A Plan with attitude, Astrology and Ambivalence and maybe an Avocado although personally I am not a fan of the Avocado I am more an Asteroid sort of chap although to be fair Avocados are much easier to find and are generally easier to eat although not always. 

Now in previous years I have always drawn a picture to accompany each of my efforts as I progress through the alphabet towards that Holy Grail of all those who attempt this. . The Letter Z . . . . . .Well not this year O No I plan to put a random picture I have taken of my home or the garden or something that has absolutely nothing to do with the Letter in Question. That is basically what Plan A is all about? It is a rather Abstract Plan.

Well what we have here is a sunset from the garden 

and a mighty fine one it is too to start our journey 

Phew well I think that’s enough to get me to the ever popular letter B . . . . . Good luck everyone you’ll need it . . . . . . See you at Z. . . .
