Svetlana Marisova ...... poetry

We watch with quiet interest from the side as the memory of our friend in the strange world of cyberspace starts to form. Miss Svetlana Marisova was very clever with words and a lover of poetry in particular haiku. She often implied the Ghost Writer was a bit of a one for using too many words. Miss Svetlana once turned two of his mad little attempts at poetry into haiku and these are what she wrote

summer wind -

grains of sand slip through

my fingers too

and

noonday sun -

shadows also

hide

Svetlana Marisova died from brain cancer at the age of 21, on September 7th 2011 but her memory will continue in the hearts and minds of her family and friends; and through her words for many others. The Ghost Writer had always hoped that she would write a swirling epic novel but alas it was not to be. In many ways we were just ships passing in the night each appreciative of the words of the other.

We hope your spirit will continue to live in the words you left behind Miss Svetlana X.
