A grey day of uninteresting things

The Ghost Writer had to go to his grey office although he said he did not mind as it was even greyer outside and rather wet (again) although he does feel like he has had his mind sucked out by aliens. Sadly unlike yesterday where I had several uninteresting things to write about in my diary, today is rather difficult because I have no uninteresting things to write about. This is the way of the world, as is from time to time repeating ones self as I am presently doing by telling you I am repeating myself.

The sky a shot time ago, those clouds are shifting a bit

I forgot to mention that the other night I saw a hedgehog in the garden, it was very grumpy and was shouting at the cats and me I think. The dog suggested covering it in clay and popping it under a bonfire, but mum being a vegetarian hit the dog over the head with the armadillo toaster and distracted him with a frozen turkey from the supermarket. You do get vegetarian dogs but it is seldom their own choice and not when they are five feet tall with red eyes and huge fangs and rip the dog food tins open themselves.

I still have not made the plinth for the Olympic torch bearing Cultural Olympian, I suppose it is ironic that he will stand on a plinth because he could end up being the only British athlete to do so, despite being made of cardboard. I know I am being a bit negative but I just have this feeling that all will not fair well, generally I am wrong about stuff like this, so they will be great (no only kidding it will be awful). There seems to be a lot of sport about at present, I have heard talk of football on the wireless and no doubt at some point the Wimbledon tennis will start (sorry I am not a fan). And in theory there is cricket on the go somewhere out there in the grey rain.

OK that’s about it as I am rather tired and as you are all starting to notice today was a very quiet day indeed. One thing I should say is the cows that vanished in the night from the field next to us, who were off with aliens are back in the field as if nothing happened. Me and the dog have tried to quiz them about what they have been up to but they just stare blankly at us and eat grass, the dog and Mr Jones said this is clear evidence of brain washing by aliens. In fact Mr Jones says this is some of the best evidence he has had to date of the cunning ways of aliens and says we should take one of these cows to NASA and compare it to an astronaut who has have his mind sucked out by aliens or a Ghost Writer in a grey office.

Finally I need to recommend the very good blog of Mr H 'THOUGHTLESS GIBBERISH' who is presently completing an interactive experiment in language and wit, so if you have the time and opportunity to visit his blog please do so ..... He is highly recommended by none other than me...........AH

  1. I noticed that two words in your blog post had letters missing, the first one needed an "r" and the second needed an "o", and I thought that maybe there might be a missing "b" then so that it wous spell "rob", but I couldn't find a missing b. ...OR... It could be you were just going for an "or", ah, that is being tricky. To b or not to b, that is the answer.

    2. Your musings of the missings are amusing.

  2. It is a bit odd about cows, they seem to be very hesitant to comment. They are all so much alike that way.

    1. Yes there is much wisdom and peace in the eyes of cows, which is why mankind eats cows and cows don't eat mankind.

  3. I must say the shouting hedgehog tickled me somewhat (though not literally, that would be painful) and dog's retort was highly funny. (though a little spiteful.

And if Mr H's posts are an experiment in language and wit, I'd better go a delete my question.

    1. You are a one Miss Lily I did notice your question..... Not sure what Mrs H will say as Mr H tries to write a response.

The hedgehog was very grumpy with us all, but maybe it was a mum hedgehog with young. Mums can be very protective when they need to be.

  4. Question is, do those cows show any sign of having been impregnated by aliens? that's often a good way to tell if they're being truthful about it.

    1. I am not entirely sure that the cows have been impregnated by aliens? Probably not because it would not look good in the block buster movie that Steven Spielberg will be making shortly (well maybe) and I like to ensure my blog is child friendly (almost), although their are several child eating monsters from time to time.

I sure it happens in most blogs, the odd child is eaten by monsters.... When I say odd I refer to the number of them rather that the type.
