The Giant Javanese Aardvark Beetle
Sunday is the day of Rest,
and there are many things an Aardvark will not DO
Like singing hymns in the
local church or carving their initials in an old church PEW
Or sitting in a huge long
Queue waiting to buy flat pack furniture in IKEA
Or watching cricket on the
playing fields of England
while drinking ice cold BEER
You will never see Aardvarks
with an Electric Drill trying to put up a Kitchen SHELF
Or sitting on a sofa
watching The Great Escape or that film with Gandalf and an ELF
NO on Sundays Aardvarks are
reclusive beasts, catch the bus and take a little RIDE
Where they go and see
their Auntie
EAT HER
And then run away and HIDE
Sundays Off HA HAH AH AH HA HAH HA HAH hha ha haha ha ha ha ha I laugh in the face of adversity
Ikea won't let Aardvarks in the store?
ReplyDeleteAH but guess what the meal balls are made of. . . . .HAH AHH AH AH AH HAH ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hah ah ah ha ha ha
DeleteYou're not getting enough of this the rest of the week? A to Z is making you bonkers. Then again I guess you might have started out that way.
ReplyDeleteIKEA/Beer --That's what I call poetic license.

A Faraway View
An A to Z Co-host blog
I know Mr B and as you know more than most i am secretly doing my bit behind the scenes too. . . . . PHEW . . .
DeleteI think IKEA and Beer is OK with the British accent. Us Brits are linguistly designed for poetry . . . . .
No No we are, by far. . .
Making him? Making him? hahahahahaha.
DeleteHi Rob,
ReplyDeleteI have loved hopping into your blog
and all the stories about a dog
All the posts in a neat column
Lots of aardvarks and no sign of Gollum
Eating your Auntie came as a bit of a surprise.
Love your theme - #atozchallenge wise :)
God only knows how that comment came about but I've enjoyed the last 15 minutes or so :D Reflex Reactions
Well thank you very much for a grand comment I would like to think my blog inspired you.
DeleteI will pop back and says thanks.
And thanks for following, my blog does have some odd moments and a lot of Zombies.
Delete"Adversity" perfectly describes you, as you are progressively adding verses while drinking tea.
ReplyDeleteI drink a lot of tea Mr ESB but it is very weak very milky and has loads of sugar in. So most folk look at it and go . . . . . .YUCK.
DeleteThe post might be a rather long adversity by Z..
But by Z I think the verses rather than add will become ad-hock.
Aunticide. Dirty aardvark bastard.
