Ronald the Royal Rabbit

The Slightly eccentric A to Z blogging adventure of unknown and rather unpopular Modern fairy tales
2013

R    Ronald the Royal Rabbit

Ronald the royal Rabbit was a round rotund rabbit from eating radishes and rhubarb
You are so very round, said the robin sitting in a rosebush.
As round as Round can be said Ronald the Royal Rabbit

Then a rook said you are so very very round, as it sat in a rowan tree
You are right, As round as Round can be said Ronald the Royal Rabbit.

Then a rattlesnake said you are very very very round, as he rested in the rocks
You are also right, As round as Round as round can be said Ronald the Royal Rabbit.

Then the kings cook came out and chopped off Ronald the royal Rabbit’s head
And as the king ate his dinner that evening he said
What a lovely round rabbit this is

And Ronald the royal Rabbit looking down from Rabbit heaven said
This story is rubbish  . . . . . . . I demand a rewrite.

    1. It is good that it made you laugh, but it was a little sad for Ronald

  3. With so many rounds, I became curious as to the radius of the round rabbit royal Ronal d.

Question: Do you know why they caLL it decapitation?
Answer: Cause you can't wear a cap anymore.

    1. Rabbits have problems with caps due to large ears so in a rabbits case it might be deearitation.

    2. I think practicaLLy aLL the times I have seen rabbits with hats they have holes for the ears to poke up through, so that might have a stabilizing effect, especiaLLy in windy climates. But Google seems to be useless, they show alot of rabbits sitting in hats when I try to get some photos. I am off to the diner for some coffee ...

    3. Enjoy your coffee Mr ESB, and yes you are right about the hats and rabbits. In fact it means that they may be designed better than humans to wear hats in windy climates.

  4. Hahahaha! Little man is still chuckling in his room at that ending, as am I.
Great story, with the added bonus of having one of my favourite songs at the end. Wonderful. :)

    1. Ah yes it is a good song and I did think Master Lil man would be amused by the end. I don't think anyone dies after today, although a few critters get squashed and a rodent is turned into a vampire and a prince gets rather annoyed with a princess and leaves her to her fate with a zombie

    1. I do not like Rhubarb as it has been shown that you are more likely to be eaten by a king if you eat a lot of Rhubarb. Those that eat no Rhubarb are never eaten by kings.

Thanks for calling by it is always nice to meet a minion, I have a friend who is hoping to take over the world with the help of minions (I know its a big ask)
