More Poetry about Stuff

The Rain Falls from the Sky
And the Sky is Rather High
And when it Falls on Our Heads
We End Up Wet Rather than Dry

  1. Here comes the rain again,
falling on my head like a memory,
falling on my head like a new emotion.

(written by me and not that darned plagiarist Annie Lennox. That woman is always nicking my best material)

  2. We normally get about 20 inches of precipitation per year. I saw the other day that we have received 20 inches already this year, so we are 10 inches ahead. I think it has rained at least 5 inches in just the last week.
