F is For FEE FI FO FUM a Reflections Post . . . . .sort of

FEE FI FO FUM
I SMELL THE BLOOD OF AN ENGLISH MUM

Yes it makes no sense what so ever that Jack was not a mother and his mother never climbed beam (sorry Bean) stalks, so what the giant was on about is anyone’s guess. My own opinion was that he had Mother Goose stashed out the back thinking it was the Goose that laid the Golden Egg, he was in for a shock later when he found the cupboard was bare and an entire family was squatting in one of his shoes. While a fox tried to blow it down and three pigs ran about in a clock.

Anyway as we can see the Jolly giant is looking at his Reflection in the Mirror and has recited his other well known little rhyme MIRROR MIRROR ON WALL WHO’S A TO Z WAS VERY THIN BUT RATHER TALL.  Well we all know that this year I did a tall thin A to Z which was something I have not done before. It also involved a lot of Aardvarks which no one else has done before and that is what I always try to do; think of something new and interesting. OK when I say interesting it is only really interesting to me, sort of a bit.

I enjoyed the A to Z there was some grand posts by some of my favourite bloggers this year.

But that’s it, its over and normality returns . . . . . .PHEW and all this talk of giants through the looking glass and tilting at windmills while staggering about in ruby red slippers can be put to rest until some silly  frog kisses a princess sleeping on a huge pile of mattresses with peas stuck under them in a vane attempt to germinate next years bean stalk.

And I would like to say that this years best post in the entire A to Z by anyone was this

  2. Road-tripping from A to Z! This is a very interesting Reflections post. And by interesting, I mean--confusing to me, yet likeable at the same time. Kudos to you!

    1. I'm afraid that is the sort of chap I am. . . . . confused. The one advantage in that is that thanks to Mr ESB I have learnt that intelligent machines dont understand confusion.

One day this might be useful. Enjoy the Road trip it will be long but diverse

  4. All this time, I thought it was "I smell the blood of an Englishman." With the "man" part of it mispronounced to rhyme with "fum." Duh!

    1. Glad you enjoyed it. I did consider a serious reflections post but there are a lot of them. Sometimes it is just nice to read something a bit different without the scary pointer of a knowing person who knows things or a very enthusiastic person who is as keen as mustard . . . .

Its one of those saying again that makes no sense to me.

  6. U are right, The Flip is veRy good, undercover on Facebook, hilarious. It was too smaLL to read aLL of the pieces on my iPhone so I will have to read it when I get to work on my PC.

I was going to type something else here but my wife interrupted me and now I have forgot. At least my grape vines are working, producing some leaves and one plant has some proto-grapes. The two plants on the east side have absolutely no leaves, they are always later, and I did see my first praying mantis of the year. I am in mild overaLL pain from working too hard, I think. Yesterday was a bit of a disconcerting day with no help from an outside eXpert. At least I was a good boy and got my weekly sweeping and mopping done early so I could focus yesterday on a plumbing problem. I would like to paint the outside of my building but it is too windy. The dirt in the air might give it an interesting texture. I must find a pillow as getting up at 6 AM is totaLLy unacceptable today. Tomorrow is a friend from work birthday so I will have to hunt her down. I did holler at her as she was going to her mailbox but I was driving by at 40 mph across a four lane road with other traffic so she may not have recognized me. It was more of a drive-by shouting. I will ask her tomorrow if she heard me. She used to come to our hair salon a long time ago but that was with one of my renters who is long gone. Actually veRy long gone as in time and distance as she is now in Saudia Arabia, I think.

    1. Saudi Arabia is not good for hair or paint as it contains too much sand, . . . .Or shouting they are a bit sensitive to folk who shout.

I think grapes may cause issues as well, particularly if they are turned into wine. It may be best to conduct all these things in Texas, impling you live in the ideal location to be you......

    2. I wound up going to a different restaurant that I never go to anymore instead if the diner because it is a restaurant that is a big shirt client of mine. And the lady that I thought had moved to Saudia Arabia was there tonight. I asked my wife and she said that it was only a visit. But we found out later that she is moving there.

  7. Thank you Mr. Rob Z. I thought you had some excellent posts yourself. In a rather silly Aardvarkian way.
