  2. It's beautiful! Please don't eat the poor thing. Unless it's really tasty. Then all bets are off.

    1. It is quite safe, it was badly concussed after hitting a window but after a while in a box to recover it sat on my hand for ten minutes to have a good look round and then flew off. . . . . . . Thing is dont tell folk or it will ruin my reputation . . . . . AH DAMN I really should not have said that . . . .

  3. I imagine that chaffinch pie isn't very nice. Far too many little bones for my liking.

  4. It's right there. How do you have the patience to admire its stupidity and dream of baking? Just pop that dumbass right in your mouth. Feathers digest...I think...I mean, I wouldn't know from experience that beaks don't digest and hurt coming out the other side, that would be silly, I'm not a monster.

    1. Although I admire your enthusiasm to eat the little beast in one go and not in a pie. I would have to point out not one would consider this option with a cow or a sheep. Us folk in the west like our food to not be animal shaped or even have hints that they were indeed animals of birds. OK chickens are different no one minds a chicken shaped chicken. . . . . But not with a head no one eats the heads of anything remotely cute. OK chickens are not cute.

  5. Beautiful I like the way the wee bird tones in with the green and auburn background.

    2. Wasn't there an Admiral Byrd who was a polar explorer? Basically a penguin then! So if an eskimo saw Byrd flying through the air, he could say, "I see icy Byrd" and his friend would say, "penguins gera fljúga ekki paõ mikiõ" which translates from Icelandic to English as "penguins don't fly that high". hahahahahahaha which is the same in Icelandic (I couldn't find Inuit in Google translate)
