Santa is a Zombie . . . . (the Poetry of Rob Z Tobor)

Santa is a Zombie
Or so it has been said
He went to bed for a nap
And woke up a bit Un-Dead

So when he sneaks down your chimney
Or through your sewage drains
He will not want mulled wine or pies
He wants to eat your Brains

And when you wake up on Christmas Day
As one of the Un-Dead
You will find your wearing stockings
And a pointy hat that’s RED……..

AH HAH HA Hahah ah ah ah ha hahah hahah ha hah ah ah ahha hah ha ha ha ha hah ah ah ahh ha ha ha ha ha hah

  1. That is one of the best Christmas poems I've read. I think I'll stop having naps, if that's what they do to you.

    1. Thank you Miss Laura, it sort of popped into my head so I wrote it down..... This happens a lot but I seldom write them down and then I forget them.

I think you should be OK taking a nap but try and avoid wearing stocking and a red hat on Christmas day, just in case.

  2. This reminds me of something written by Spike Milligan. Loved it!

    1. I was always a bit of a fan of Spike Milligan. I think the main difference between us other than I am still alive and poor old Spike is not, is Spike was a bit of a spike man and I am more a Pointy Stick man. Its a small point (or two points to be exact) but important. as the great man himself would say . . . .

      Beware the Jabber-talking (sorry Jabberwocky)

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
      Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
      All mimsy were the borogoves,
      And the mome raths outgrabe.

  3. That reminds me that I discovered a new red thread yesterday that I used on my first shirt to combine embroidery and heat transfer. The color is number 2022 from Isacord, called Rio Red. The embroidered words on the shirt were Gardening - Cheaper Than Therapy, and I put a contour cut rose and leaves picture transfer between them. I am not poemy today, closer to zombiefied with a headache, so Cooper and I are snuggling, staying warm.

    1. Rio Red sounds like the hero from an old Western. Maybe you could change the words on the shirt to say....

      Cowboys - Cheaper than Therapists

    2. ooooo yes you could also use a .22 rifle image as the image, a subtle link to the colour (or color in the USA)...
