The New Slightly Enhanced LIEBSTER AWARD. . . . Not my diary, sorry about that....

Today, earlier on I got an award as those regulars know I am terrible with awards, just wait until you hear the Oscar acceptance speech when I get the Oscar for best script when that nice Steven Spielberg makes the movie of the diary.  He will hide under his seat shouting IDIOT for sure . . . . .  But he will not really mean it . …… . the wee rascal…

Anyway this award; it is one I have had in the past a couple of times and I always forget to say thanks, so today I have gone out my way to remember (I do have a rubbish memory)…. So I have been given the rather well known and sort after LIEBSTER AWARD from K. Nowinsky  at What Shall We Blog About Today? You are very kind. But I have noticed that this award can change quite a lot and I thought it needed sort of jazzing up a bit, so I have sort of redrawn it and used a small amount of artistic licence to give it the so called VA VA Voom or what ever it is that sounds like that, which I am told is WELL COOL.

So in a tradition that goes back some way I would like to pass the new look LIEBSTER AWARD on to the following folk for being jolly good chaps and chapettes. And my favourite blogs. . . .

MR ESB … … … … . A man of Knowledge and wise words from Texas

Mr H ………… . . …… Another man of science (and caravans) and a lover of Custard Creams and the night sky

Miss Lily . . . . . .........A lady living in the heart of London who has a son bent on world Domination

Master Lil man . ..  .. .A young chap bent on world domination

Mr Addman . . . ... . . A man with a terrible like of the evil Jammie Dodger, but hay no one is perfect.

Miss Laura  . . . . . .. . A writer with a dream, who is chasing her dream.

And last but not least

Penny the Dog, superstar and modest Internet sensation.

Do with this award what you will throw it in the bin, hang it on the wall or sell it to your friends the choice is yours.

  1. Cheers Rob. You really are earning that £5 i promised you (you don't remember that... oh never mind).
I will be without electricity tomorrow (today if you are reading this tomorrow, or yesterday if you are reading this the day after tomorrow) and will post my proper thanks and do a thing once Scottish power have done what ever they are doing.

ps- Have no idea why people from Scotland are getting involved in our local power supply...

strange times and no internet... it's going to be a loooong day tomorrow/today/yesterday.

    :O)

    1. Hello Mr H . . . . NO POWER, we humans can not operate with no power you will perish and die. As for Scottish Power supplying our power it is a little odd, but I think I am right in saying that Scottish Power is French owned so it all makes sense then ?

Luckily I am a Scot, but I cant speak French...

Thanks for the a ward!!! I wiLL definitely have to use it for imaginary target practice with my imag crossbow and inary arrows. The weather here has been absolutely April-ish in aLL right ways, weLL, so far. There are thunderstorms building. The owner of the diner told me two real life horror stories and one of then was about her eXperience with a microburst. I am off to view the teLLy for a show caLLed Longmire, which has increased my interest in Wyoming. Hope at least 85 percent of your life is running smoothly to magnificiently ....

    1. If I remember correctly Wyoming is very flat. . . . . . That is all I know and I might be wrong. there is a sort of word lookalike going on there Wyoming - Wrong.

The Weather here is sort of OK but not great cloudy but dry. Weather is not what is was in the old days when the planet was a hot tropical lump in space 500 million and twenty three years ago.

    2. I think Wyoming is veRy unflat. It has several mountain ranges and multiple continental divides. Yes, multiple. There is part of Wyoming that goes west to the Pacific, part that goes East, then a magical part where it goes no where but down. I forget its name, think there is a Basin in there somewhere. Basin, hah! That mademe think 'bison' - yes, there is a large bison on their state flag. I was reading about your part of the world earlier today because a cryptogram quote was by an Englishman who wrote about fishing.

    4. I appear to have got Wyoming completely wrong, maybe I need to Google Earth it a bit.

I am glad you have used the picture, but do not feel you have to.....

  3. Thank you Rob. You don't need to call me Mr Addman. Mr Addman is my father's name. Seriously, look at his birth certificate, his forename is literally "Mr". Technically, you should call him Mr Mr Addman, but that is really confusing.

Anyway, I'm getting off topic. Thanks for the wonderfully drawn award. I shall display it proudly on my Blog. Can I also use that RATS badge as well?

I will from now on call You Mr Mr Addman Junior the third just to be on the safe side

  4. Hi Rob,

I do apologise for not keeping up. With certain ongoing situations, I've not been using my computer much lately.

Thus, my friend, I want to tell you how heartened I was by your notification of you creating such a thoughtful award without the usual crap attached to it, like other awards. Of course, I don't literally mean crap.

Congrats on you receiving the original version of the lobster awards or whatever it is. Congrats to you thoughtfully forwarding it onto all those other fine folks.

Penny, who has gone for another nap, thanks you and I thank you. She has 'pawmised' to make note of this in one of her upcoming 'pawstings' :)

    Thank you.

    Penny's alleged human,

    Gary :)
