The Stuff of Summer

What a lovely day it really was summer here today, a whole day of summer may not seem a great deal to some of you but to us in the UK that is about one day more than we got last year. There is even rumour that tomorrow may be summer too, however Monday which is a bank holiday in the UK (for some) is rumoured to be wet with loads of rain attacking us from the West. I plan to draw Blinkanditsgon the Micro God of British Summer outside while I eat my tea tonight in the setting sun, let’s face it we need to make the most of it while we can. And I need to remind myself of what the sun looks like to draw a suitable image.

I have had a good day of sawing stuff, moving stuff, eating stuff, poking sticks at stuff, throwing stuff at more stuff, shouting stuff, climbing stuff, hiding stuff, loosing stuff, smelling stuff, looking at stuff, kicking stuff, finding the stuff I lost, making stuff with stuff, and I will soon be drawing stuff to add to the stuff I have written about stuff in my diary, which quite frankly is enough stuff for one day.

So I will go now and do more stuff, well draw stuff but as you will only read this after the stuff I am about to do is done I guess in reality there is stuff you don’t need to know. There is loads of stuff I don’t know about stuff which if I did I could tell you about but I don’t so I can’t. . . . . . . . Mum says IDIOT  . . . . . . . She says stuff like that.

  1. Probably most stuff doesn't realize it is caLLed stuff. I was thinking about my more eXpensive stuff and decided to record aLL the serial number of everything in a safe spot.

    1. You are right Mr ESB I cant think of any thing that is called stuff as in "Pass me the Red Stuff, the one with the long handle".

I really should do the same with serial numbers. A friend photographed all her valuables, which turned out to be a good move when some things were stolen.

    1. It is another beautiful day today, breakfast in the sun outside. But I think you may be right, so I will say no more unless I cant think of anything else to write about tonight.

  3. That's a lot of stuff there Rob Z. I myself have been mainly eating stuff, drinking stuff and shouting at stuff, chiefly, the lil man, who seems to think that all his stuff belongs on the floor.

Ooh and I do love Cyberblogamus, the Micro God of blogs. Is it okay if I steal him and post him on mine? It might stop people from unfollowing me, cos the death threats sure ain't working. :)

    1. You can add Cyberblogamus the Micro God of Blogs to your Blog Miss Lily, I am pleased that you want to. In fact I dont mind who adds him to their blog after all he cant be traced back to me so I am quite safe.

As for Master Lil man Miss Lily, it could be worse he might think all your stuff belongs on the roof.

  4. Great picture, I think it accurately captures the shortness, yet significance of the British summer.

I managed to let the sun burn my nose yesterday. If I get nose cancer, you can have my collection of stuff to add to your stuff. Just don't allow it to turn you into a stuffy person.
