Professor Henry Hooper’s Eternal Looping Paradox and the so called GON Particle of science legend.


It is Saturday and despite my best efforts to be super efficient, I appear to have failed rather spectacularly (dam I am glad I have a spell checker on this PC). How is it you can spend your day doing this and then doing that and moving things from point A to point B having negotiated your way round point C in order to make life easy. Then at the end of the day you look back on events and think …. What is it I did? I am sure I did do what I did do while I was doing it, because when I did it, it was done I think? But what I did it is anyone’s guess. 




The dog says some people spent their life doing that and there is a skill in doing, with a final result of nothing being done. In fact he says these people are the true eco warriors of our time because doing nothing involves no resources and is sustainable. So in order to save the planet the best thing we can do is nothing.

I cant help but think the dogs argument is flawed slightly because it is possible to be doing  but achieving nothing and using loads of resources doing it, so using all our resources up to do nothing seems worse to me.  I know I have discussed nothing before in much the same way as tonight, but as everyone has always said no one can write about nothing using as many words as I can, apparently it’s a gift (OK I have told you that in the past too)

Right; at this point I feel I need to be a little more scientific so some of you may like to say Oooo look at the time I must go and watch some paint dry (or mushrooms grow).

In science we all know that nothing can’t exist, I am sure my friend Mr ESB the Scientist from the world of Blogs will confirm this. So science is now looking for the so called GON Particle, so called because when it’s gone then there really is nothing. The GON or (gravitationally Openly Neutral) Particle is what the entire Universe was made of before the Big Bang, the point at which stuff was formed. And as we all know (Mr ESB will confirm again I’m sure), stuff has a gravitational force of some sort irrespective of the size of the stuff, even our thoughts are created by neutrinos and the like, so even thoughts have gravitational attraction. So for nothing to exist it would need to be Gravitationally Neutral the so called GON Particle of science legend. 

Of course to prove that the GON participle exists; therefore allowing nothing to exist is not easy. It’s not easy to find absolutely nothing, because if you do find something it is to put it in simple terms stuff, and stuff is not nothing is it. Lets face it science has a problem with the Higgs boson and that is stuff OK small stuff, but huge in comparison with the GON particle.

Anyway all I can say is next time you pass a shop window and see a sign saying “When its GON its GON”, you will know at some point there will be nothing left……. Mum just said IDIOT?

If you are thinking WHAT? I was busy all day and ended up thinking that…….. If you like you can start reading from the start again to form an Eternal Looping Paradox discovered in 1845 by Professor Henry Hooper (Hooper’s Eternal Looping Paradox or HELP).  He was ironically almost trapped by his own Paradox and nearly died in the Library but was saved when he had a eureka moment and shouted out the acronym for his new paradox ………. HELP.

    3. A known inverse of the (NO) the (ON) of the unknown remembered from memory is worth knowing. And to prove you are right I have added (ON) the S*(ON)=G ensuring that (NO)*one has GON.

      I don't think anyone is going to understand this blog, it is not like other blogs anymore ....... WELL COOL

    6. The 273.16 Degree's, I remember seeing three of them but not the others and I worry a little about the .16

      Surely that is only about an arms worth or a foot
